PROJECT HISTORY

In September 2002, (1) THERMO-CYCLER^® GTC-300 Gas Fired Heating Unit was installed in this new shop & office building for a HVAC Contractor. Approximately 72% of the building was shop area heated by the 200 Mbh Thermo-Cycler and 28% was heated by a 100 Mbh 92% high efficiency furnace.

BOTTOM LINE

During the first full season of operation, energy efficient recovery of all internal sources of heat gain by THERMO-CYCLER System resulted in a seasonal heating cost of 20.6 cents per square foot based on an average gas cost of $8.40 per Mcf. According to the building owner, "Recovery time is just so quick it is unbelievable."
